Our History
The group that has become "It's Just A Six Letter Word" was formed in August 2009
from a group of cancer patients and carers that met through a Macmillan based website.
One night after talking to each other in the chat room, our founder Pat, suggested the
idea of doing a charity calendar.
Everyone sent in their stories and photograph's and we set upon finding business's to
help us out.
We got all the calendar done for free thanks to a whole list of generous people.
Then we sold it on eBay and it was a great success and made a lot of money for our chosen
charity which is Macmillan.
This is now our new website and our group is going from strength to strength and we
look forward to the future together.
